Act Now, Change Forever – Wales campaign pack
Act Now, Change Forever Mass Lobby
What’s happening?
This is an invitation to join with people, groups and organisations across Wales who are coming together to push for a healthier, fairer and safer future as part of the ‘Act Now, Change Forever’ mass lobby in Cardiff on the 17th September.
People across Wales are already working for a better future – improving public transport, restoring nature, creating green jobs, and making homes warmer and healthier. But to make real, lasting change, we need your support. Climate Cymru is holding this space to organise collective action:
- On fairness: Imagine a Wales where every home is warm and efficient, where more of our energy is community-owned, and where no one is left behind – whether they live in Port Talbot or Prestatyn. A truly just transition means looking outward as well as inward, supporting people across Wales and standing in solidarity with those globally who are facing the harshest climate impacts.
- On finance: Imagine a Wales where money flows to where it’s needed most, where councils can back local ideas, and investment reaches the front lines, from flood defenses in Fairbourne to food security in Ferndale.
- On restoration & resilience: Imagine a Wales where nature is enabled to properly recover on land and at sea, where wetlands slow floods, woodlands cool our towns, and farmers are backed to grow healthy food in ways that protect nature and keep rural communities strong. From the fields of Flintshire to the slopes of Snowdonia, communities thrive when nature does.
