In your view, what do our leaders here in Wales, the UK and around the world need to do to solve climate change?

We need to commit to green energy production and use, and look to greatly improve the energy efficiency of homes in Wales to be more energy efficient. We also need to have more green travel routes to reduce car use and grow more of our own food, and take stronger measures to protect our environment – both in Wales and around the world.

Why have you become a Climate Cymru ambassador?

We all have a responsibility to future generations and life on our planet – the time to act is now, and as many as possible need to be involved.

As a nation, what do you feel we need to do to truly influence change?

Do what we ask others do – reducing waste, saving energy, using less – and show what can be done and the benefits of doing it for our overall wellbeing.

What makes you optimistic for the future with regards to climate change?

People – particularly young people – are really stepping up to add their voice and make personal commitments.
