Mioe CIC is a Swansea-based social enterprise driving social, cultural, and environmental impact through inclusive, community-led creative practice. Our mission is to create sustainable opportunities for individuals and communities — particularly those facing economic, social, and structural inequalities — by harnessing the power of creativity, education, heritage, and collaboration. We are committed to building a more equitable and resilient cultural sector in Wales by: Elevating underrepresented voices, especially women, neurodivergent individuals, and working-class creatives; Preserving and celebrating local heritage, ensuring that community stories, identities and cultural histories are recognised, recorded, and shared; Embedding environmental awareness across our programming, encouraging responsible, low-impact practice and creative responses to climate and place; Strengthening creative ecosystems through partnerships, capacity building, and local commissioning that supports artists and practitioners at every stage of their career; Delivering inclusive learning, training, and development opportunities that equip people with the confidence, knowledge and tools to build sustainable creative lives.
