Communications & Storytelling
About
Climate Cymru’s Communications and Storytelling Team work on three levels:
- To support the collective work of the Climate Cymru partnership using communications and storytelling.
- To offer partners support with their own communications and storytelling work through digital, press and spokesperson training, as well as offering creative support for groups who lack capacity and resources.
- To lead a collective narrative strategy with the climate movement in Wales. Co-creating a shared ambition, communications infrastructure, community leadership, and the political courage needed for deep, transformative change that supports both people and the planet.

Imagine Action Communities
In the climate movement we know that team time and capacity are limited, especially for smaller groups. Through our pioneering Cascading Support initiative, we are supporting 16 under-resourced groups to tell their story and meet their communication needs. We hope to expand this programme in the future, sign-up today to be the first to hear about what support we can offer.

Press
Climate Cymru works to connect our partners with the Press. Creating opportunities, building relationships and providing training to help underrepresented community voices access the media landscape. We train and support spokespeople to tell their own stories, amplifying grassroots voices into the national conversation.

Comms Hub
Our Comms Hub is a platform for communicators from climate and social justice groups across Welsh society to strategically connect, collaborate and coordinate effective communications action. We run monthly meetings for the group to co-work and strategise together. We also run a group chat to share resources and co-amplify each other’s work.
