WWF Mobilising Community Action in Wales 2022

Communities are more powerful than they know.

WWF's Mobilising Community Climate Action Project aimed to inspire and help bring people together to build a healthier, more prosperous future for themselves and their environment. Communities in Wales were supported with £500 to help fund local community climate action projects.

Projects that received funding reflected the diversity and creativity of the communities they supported. They included bicycle recycling projects, cycling and walking clubs, community gardens, food growing workshops and shared allotments, sustainable cooking classes, group foraging activities, sustainable fashion events, composting workshops, community radio stations and more.

Climate Cymru visited many Mobilising Community Action projects on our Green Tour of Wales - why not take a look at the projects in your area below and get in touch?
