The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) shows how this can be done in a way that provides multiple co-benefits, including helping us to adapt to climate impacts, restoring biodiversity, improving public health, reducing fuel and food poverty, creating jobs and enhancing wellbeing. With nearly 50 years’ experience of providing environmental education, and over a decade of thought leadership in how the UK can reach net zero, the Centre for Alternative Technology has a unique role to play.
