Gilfach Goch Community Association
Set up in 1996 by the community, for the community, Gilfach Goch Community Association or GGCA as it is known locally, offers a large number of services, projects, classes, courses and activities for people of all ages and abilities with particular emphasis of supporting those more vulnerable groups within society. With a commitment to improve the lives of those residing in the communities we work in, we ensure all our work is based on identified need, adapted for all abilities and inclusive for all from the the earliest opportunity. We achieve this by supporting people to engage at every level. Supported by a team of volunteers we are able to benefit the communities we work in through the advancement of education, the promotion of good health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness.
“As an organisation that looks to improve the lives of those we work with and the communities we work in, we want to do what we can to address the climate change emergency. Our aim is to support people to understand that we all have a part to play in reducing our carbon footprint. Whether as an individual at home or a group in the community, the actions we must take now will help us in our future and the future of generations to come. ”
