Cardiff Circular Economy Network (CCEN)
Cardiff Circular Economy Network (CCEN) supports businesses and schools to network and implement circular economy solutions. CCEN is a collaborative project between Cardiff Metropolitan University, Celsa Steel UK, One Planet Cardiff and Cardiff Commitment (Curriculum Development).
“Climate change threatens the planet and future generations. We need our leaders to take climate change seriously and support circular economy principles, innovative practices and skills development across all sectors to promote clean growth for future generations. In the words of Ellen Macarthur Foundation, a leading think tank for the circular economy, "To solve big problems like climate change, waste, and pollution, we need a big idea. It’s time to rethink how we design, make, and use the things we need, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear. Together, we can create a better future for business, society and the natural world."”
