Great Big Green Week: Workshops and training

Promoting your local GBGW event online and with local media is a fantastic way to tell your story, boost local awareness and ensure that many people in your community hear about your Great Big Green Week event. In this training session the communications team of Climate Cymru will provide tips and guidance to equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to achieve media coverage. The training will cover how to write your local press release, the importance of social media and imagine action tools to make your communication even more effectful.

Creating, capturing and measuring the impact of your local Great Big Green Week event is an important part of running a successful event that often gets left behind. In this training session we will provide useful tips and tools on how to integrate simple steps into your event management to ensure you are capturing the great impact of your event. The training will cover how to create/ capture videos, photos, quotes and useful data during your event and how to communicate and share your story.
