Climate Cymru’s Movement Building Team is a dedicated group that powers the organisation’s mission by fostering collaboration, coordination, and growth across its network. This team strengthens relationships with organisations and individuals through thematic groups and networks, serving, connecting, inspiring, and learning from a diverse and broad movement. They create spaces for collaboration, unblock barriers, and host themed convenings to drive collective action and amplify impact.
Partner Network
Climate Cymru’s partner network is the driving force behind its mission to accelerate climate action across Wales. Comprising over 400 organisations, ranging from local community groups to national charities and businesses, the network collaborates to amplify impact, share resources, and advocate for systemic change.

Volunteer Network
Our volunteers are at the heart of Climate Cymru. During the past year, our volunteers have pioneered our Climate Action Link project, inspiring the next generation of young people to take climate action in their local communities. Volunteers have also been central to our policy and advocacy work, supporting our team, leading candidate briefings and engaging in hustings across Wales.

Ethnic Minority Network
Climate Cymru Ethnic Minorities (CCEM) is an independent, self-determined network established in July 2021 by Climate Cymru Ambassadors. CCEM provides a vibrant platform for individuals and organisations of ethnic minority heritage living in Wales. It is a space to connect, collaborate, and strengthen advocacy on the climate crisis, climate justice, and related issues.

Global Climate Justice Cymru
Global Climate Justice Cymru brings together organisations, groups, networks and individuals to accelerate action for global climate justice and to ensure that diverse perspectives and experiences are included in related discussions, policy development and campaigns. The group advocates for climate action in Wales that is grounded in a deep understanding of global responsibility.

Youth Climate Ambassadors for Wales
The YCA is a democratic, youth-led initiative, which gives young people aged 13-25 years across Wales, a voice and opportunities to take climate action. All key decisions are made by members, including a consultation group, which sits alongside the YCAs and is open to all young people in Wales. The group campaign for a greener, fairer future— led by youth, powered by hope.
