TYF

TYF are on a mission to help people fall so deeply in love with nature that it changes the way that they live. TYF inspire generations with low-carbon, eco-friendly outfitting, repairs, adventures and learning on the wild and beautiful St. Davids peninsular.

“TYF Adventure work on the edge of Wales connecting people to nature in wild places. The adventure guides day job see's the unique eco-system and marine life flourishing in the clean air and water of Pembrokeshire. Yet we are fully aware that the effects climate change has on sea temperatures and sea level rise will have catastrophic effects on coastal communities, worldwide. While we're in a position of safety (for now) due to our own luck of where we were born we cannot stand by and watch disasters around the world. It is up to us to answer with action. Climate justice is social justice. Governments must work together at Cop26 to work out ways to support the countries that are seeing the first hand effects of climate change, often the very same countries that have the lowest carbon footprint. Governments should look at ways of creating a carbon tax so the companies and individuals that pollute must pay. Governments must look at transitioning to a more circular economy where a products life-cycle is considered during the design phase and manufactures take responsibility of the product at it's end of life. Governments must help communities come together to create a decentralised, fair energy system that brings the power back to the people.”
