The Young Ambassador Program
A group of 24 international ambassadors from 21 different countries, dedicated to Earth stewardship, environmental activism and promoting climate literacy. From a diverse geographical and educational backgrounds including circular economy, geology, environmental engineering, global sustainability, environmental law, diplomacy, and more.
On June 5th 2021, World Environment Day, the young ambassadors launched their first International Day webpage in collaboration with tEP and UNESCO IUGS. The webpage is a composite of several initiatives that have been in the works since our last event for Earth Day 2021. The first is a series of World Environment Day Interviews where the young ambassadors spoke to visionary scientists, entrepreneurs, conservationists and climate activists about their perspectives on current global environmental trends. The second initiative was to create and launch two citizen surveys taking stock of people’s thoughts on two topics we believe are central to solving global environmental challenges in the 21st century: Climate Change Education and Waste Production and Management. These surveys were translated into six languages to increase the reach of our enquiry.
