Swansea Quakers

Swansea Quakers are one of the larger Quaker meetings in South Wales, seeking to express through our lives the principles of Peace, Equality, Simplicity, Truth and Sustainability.

“We have a strong tradition of working, in cooperation with other organisations, for social and environmental justice, both in Wales and the UK and overseas. With other Quakers in Britain, we are committed to becoming a low-carbon, sustainable community, aware that; "We do not own the world, and its riches are not ours to dispose of at will," and that, "We must work to ensure that our increasing power over nature is used responsibly, with reverence for life." Recently we have developed our garden, using sustainable methods, as a community resource. ”
