South Wales Baptist Association

The South Wales Baptist Association (SWaBA) is a partnership of over 100 churches & missional communities from across South Wales and part of the Baptist Union of Great Britain.

It exists to encourage the building and development of healthy churches and to enable them to assist each other in mission in their community, Wales and the world. From their earliest beginnings in the 17th century, Baptist churches in Wales have worked in association with each other to plant and develop churches across the nation.

“As an Association we want to affirm that we believe God created the world and we should be good stewards of it. This means that we take seriously issues of ecological justice. We believe the church should be an example of how to do things differently. We are partnering and are involved in BUEN - Baptist Union Environment Network.”
