Paramaethu Sir Benfro / Permaculture Pembrokeshire
Paramaethu Cymru support permaculture groups across Wales. Our partners Permaculture Pembrokeshire / Paramaethu Sir Benfro are a voluntary and volunteer-run organisation working in rural West Wales across locations in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. The group organises monthly volunteer days, called ‘Helping Hands’ get-togethers at a site whereby a set task or series of tasks is conducted. Past ‘Helping Hands’ have included compost loo builds; building polytunnel doors; making compost bays and tree planting (a popular activity). As a group we have also attended eco fairs and seed swaps promulgating permaculture!
“Climate action is a sensible course of action in the current circumstances. It’s active, social, positive and future orientated in an ecology, long-view kind of way.”
