“The church is calling for the highest emitting countries (including the UK) to be the most ambitious in reducing carbon to net-zero and that communities on the front lines of the climate crisis be equipped for the changes that they are experiencing. The Methodist Church is doing this by enabling the voices of those most affected by climate change to be heard at COP26 and urging each individual to take responsibility to cut carbon emissions.”
