The Green New Deal is a powerful and popular concept that many groups and individuals are organising around. No one group ‘owns’ this idea, but we all benefit from collaborating and coordinating across our different approaches.

To survive, we have to forge a new path for our economy to protect and build the things that are important to us: things like health, fairness and community. This requires governments and policy-makers to collaborate on designing large scale, 360-degree investment plans that will decarbonise our economy and create secure, well-paid, green jobs for all. People will have quality homes, clean air, sustainable energy and affordable transport for everyone. Our vision for a genuine green new deal will ensure people have the skills and opportunities they need to make sure no one is left behind in the transition to a zero carbon economy.”
