Community Energy Wales

Community Energy Wales is a membership organisation supporting the interests of community energy groups throughout Wales.

“We want to see a democratisation of energy as we move towards a zero carbon future. This means decentralising energy generation and placing ownership within communities, so that communities can benefit from renewable green energy. We have dozens of successful community energy projects in Wales, and if we are to take the Welsh public with us in the change to net zero, community ownership is key.”
