Penny Laine’s

Penny Laine’s is a place for the planet-conscious and socially conscious who value self-care and wellbeing for themselves and others.

By delivering carefully, consciously curated seasonal collections of genuinely earth-friendly homewares, stationery and screen diversions, they want to help everyone live in a mindful space, full of beautiful things that don't impact the planet and perhaps do some social good.

Every product they stock is sourced with care, with a core set of environmental and sustainability principles at the heart of everything they do. Where possible their collections will have firm roots in using recycled materials and materials that can be repurposed once finished.

The future of planet, doing social good, along with supporting wellbeing and improving mental health are the underpinning foundations of everything they do, and to support this they will donate a portion of our profits each season to a charity that makes strides in one of these fields. They know that by putting the people and planet above profit, we really can help make a difference.

Why do you care about the climate?

I worry for the future of my children and my grandchildren and also feel a huge amount of guilt for being a careless consumer over my lifetime.

What action do you want to see from our leaders?

Real, immediate action that happens now – now more jam tomorrow!

What gives you hope for the future?

People like my daughter, Poppy Stowell-Evans – real change makers who aren’t going to let this lie.
