In your view, what do our leaders here in Wales, the UK and around the world need to do to solve climate change?

I think that leaders should find a centre ground around the most important issues; addressing the litter crisis, and addressing the carbon that’s going into the atmosphere!

Why have you become a Climate Cymru ambassador?

I have a personal passion for making the most difference I can as an individual, whether that’s eating high quality local foods over imported stuff, filling a few bags of rubbish up when I go climbing, or cycling to Trebanog to go climbing in the first place! I know that individual action won’t cut it when it comes to climate change but I hope to inspire others by mine.

As a nation, what do you feel we need to do to truly influence change?

Engage with politics, pick up litter (even if it’s not ours), and call out others, even engage in argument and debate about the issues that matter!

What makes you optimistic for the future with regards to climate change?

In truth, I’m not optimistic; that’s not who I am. But I do want to play my part in changing that outlook for those who come after us.
