In your view, what do our leaders here in Wales, the UK and around the world need to do to solve climate change?
Address financial models that underpin decision making and address future inequalities that may arise with decarbonization, for example, how do we change behavior in a fair and equal manner, especially given impact of taxation and support mechanisms?
Why have you become a Climate Cymru ambassador?
I believe bottom up / grass roots activism and support is needed for truly sustainable change.
As a nation, what do you feel we need to do to truly influence change?
We must hightlight local renewable energy resources and ways to reduce resource/energy needs: from renewable electricity supply, to car sharing and community schemes. The geography of Wales makes it an ideal show case center for community and grass root schemes, but also remote community/industry power solutions.
What makes you optimistic for the future with regards to climate change?
Energy security concerns and carbon-energy source price increases are making low-carbon energy solutions cost-effective.
