In your view, what do our leaders here in Wales, the UK and around the world need to do to solve climate change?
There will be no end to this problem until we change. And the change starts with the politicians. They must start paying attention to what’s happening around us and start making policies and funding sustainable resources.
Why have you become a Climate Cymru ambassador?
Because we need change in this country. Wales is a small country but we have a big heart which can make a difference! With out people like us there would be no need for change so that’s why we must speak up now!
As a nation, what do you feel we need to do to truly influence change?
We are already one of the best countries in the world at recycling so why can’t we be one of the best for other things. If we act first it will make other people get up and do something!
What makes you optimistic for the future with regards to climate change?
Nothing much. No political party or politician are doing anything to help with Climate change! The change is coming from us the people. Look at Greta Thunberg for example, without her determination we wouldn’t be in this position with the climate crisis.
